Cuddly Kitten Day
March 15, 2022
March 23rd is Cuddly Kitten Day! Of course, kitties deserve to be loved and cuddled every day. Our feline pals really do fill a special place in our hearts…as well as on our laps. Of course, no matter how old Fluffy gets, she’ll always be a kitten at heart. Here, a Bellevue, WA vet lists some cute ways to celebrate Cuddly Kitten Day with your pet.

Playtime

Did you know that playing is very good for Fluffy? It benefits her both physically and mentally. Grab that laser pointer!

Treats

You may have heard that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. That’s also true for cats! Offer Fluffy a special treat. Plain, canned tuna or chicken is a good bet. There’s a good chance she’ll feel quite cuddly after her snack.

Catnip

Watching kitties enjoying a little catnip really never gets old. Give Fluffy some new catnip toys, and let her pounce her little heart out. This may be as fun for you as it is for her!

Photos

Snap some photos of Fluffy! Our feline buddies are extremely photogenic. You can never have too many cute cat pictures.

Beds

It really doesn’t take much to please our feline friends. One thing that is bound to get Fluffy’s motor going? A comfy new bed. Store-bought beds are great, but you can also just fold a blanket up and put it on a chair or ottoman.

Grooming

Cats love being pampered. While Fluffy is very good at keeping her fur clean, she often enjoys having a bit of help in this area. Brushing your kitty regularly will help remove dead hair and dander from her coat. She’ll end up with less hairballs, and you won’t have as much pet fur all over your belongings. Talk about a win-win!

Movie Time

Is your kitty a lap cat? Settle in with a good show or movie, and let your kitty relax on your lap. Fluffy is a purrfect cuddle buddy!

Spread The Word

Unfortunately, there are many cats out there who don’t have anyone to cuddle them. Spread the word about a kitty that needs a home. You may change Fluffy’s world with just a few keystrokes! Or, if your home, budget, and schedule have the room, consider adopting another kitty. Is your pet overdue for an exam? Contact us, your Bellevue, WA pet hospital, today!
